Recreation for Development and Peace (RDP)
Started work in 1998 as a youth organisation focusing on sports and cultural activities to encourage youth in promoting democracy. Has evolved into a majorly youth advocacy focused organisation that works to enhance youth issues and participation in governance, policy and development processes.
Vision: A just and equitable Uganda society in which young people can and live a justified life
Mission: To proactively facilitate a participatory process and platform for young people to assert their role and visibility in governance, policy making/ influence and development process through structured and constructive dialogue and engagement, policy advocacy and lobby.
