YEC was established as a youth led community enhancement organisation dedicated to elevating young people`s voices in governance by extending leadership, SRHR, and livelihood strategies to the youth(12-35) through capacity building, advocacy and community mobilisation especially at grass root levels.

Vision: A transformed society where young men and women fully enjoy their human rights

Mission: To amplify young people's voices for gender equality and social justice through research, capacity building, advocacy and community mobilisation and empowerment

Objectives:

• To empower the youth to effectively participate in governance processes for youth responsive policies and programs
• To promote sexual and reproductive health rights of young people to access youth- friendly services
• To promote ICT innovation and entrepreneurship skills for socio- economic empowerment of young women and men
• To enhance the capacity of youth with disabilities to meaningfully participate in development processes
