The initiative to form KAYONET arose due to the need to share information on problems/ challenges affecting young people, to build solidarity and coordinate all youth associations to become more accountable and improve service delivery to their members.

Vision: A recognized leader in youth centered economic service delivery, governance and accountability  

Mission: Build capacity of member youth organisations to have a collective voice for sustainable inclusive development through networking, advocacy and lobbying.

Objectives:

• To strengthen the organisational capacity of member organisations for effective, competent and quality service delivery
• mobilise young people to form groups and associations for sustainable economic development and collective social action
• To promote the delivery of services to young people through networking, information and experience sharing between member organisations, partners and stakeholders at all levels.
