Youth After School Initiative (YASI)
YASI recognized a large scale of unemployment and poverty in the country, violation of human rights and injustice in society, and limited participation of youth and young women in decision making processes at various levels.
Vision: An empowered school leaver with knowledge, relevant skills and progressive values needed for attainment of the desired sustainable development.
Mission: To be the bridge that connects school leavers at every educational level to the world of meaningful and fulfilling attainment through capacity building, empowerment and meaningful engagement.
Objectives:
- To promote Civic consciousness, Participation, Self-help programmes and Community-based initiatives.
- To promote Entrepreneurship, Employment and Youth Economic Empowerment for improved livelihoods.
- To foster Human Rights, Governance and Peace.
